The River House

The River House is a once in a life time kind of restaurant. It was to support  the 7th and 8th graders trip to the Chesapeake Bay. The restaurant was held at the Londonderry school (My school).

When I first walked in, I saw lots more people than I thought I would see.  I saw waiters, cooks, and customers. Our host, Yusuf, seated us in the garden.  Then came our server, Aiden. I ordered the organic green salad with goat cheese and figs.

The salad was almost balanced perfectly but I would have liked a little bit more goat cheese. Then we ordered our main meals.  I got lasagna.  It was cheesy, saucy, and meaty.

C.J., a violinist and student, was playing some music.

We went to the dessert table and I picked out some apple pie.  It had caramel and apples.

It was tasty. The River House was cool because it was run by kids.  They should own a real restaurant.
I rate this meal 5 out of 5 stars (5 / 5)
